Silver Cybergoth Bustier by Lip Service - This cyber-goth bustier is made by Lip Service and is marked size medium. It is gunmetal silver vinyl with a front panel that is lightly padded and stitched with horizontal seams 1" apart all the way down. The bottom front scoops low to a couple inches below the belly button while the sides ride above the hip bones. The back is plain vinyl and zips up with a silver zipper into a high back. The sides each have two buckles that are adjustable depending on your body type. Measurements: waist is about 27" give or take depending on how tight you pull the buckles; because of the way the bustier is shaped with the points going over the breasts, it could fit a bust size ranging from 32B to 34C; the seam from the top of the point to the bottom is 13" but the center scoops down about 2" more; the sides are 7" and the back is 12.5". Because the points in front barely cover the nipples, you may want to wear electrical tape or pin the inside of the fabric to bra straps to keep it in place. It is lined in thin black fabric. The bottom edge of the bustier emphasizes the waistline and hips, and so would look best on someone very slender. I have obviously gained too much weight since having my daughter and can no longer get away with wearing it. This bustier looks brand new still; I only wore it one time. Gold/Red Hand-Made Steampunk-Inspired Waist-Cincher - Brand new, hand-made Victorian-style waist cincher - aka "corselette". This cincher features a gorgeous iridescent golden-red faux (polyester) dupioni. It's a gold-and-red crossweave, which really catches the light! I believe the manufacturer's described the color as "sunset tomato", aptly enough! As it's a dupioni-style fabric, the "slubs" are a deliberate feature, not a defect. The cincher measures 28" at the waist when fully closed - which means it can be worn by someone with a 26" to 30" waist, depending on how much of a gap you like to have showing. The center front panel, at the longest point, is 9" high. These waist cinchers can be laced quite snugly, but should not be used for extreme waist reduction (aka "tight lacing") as it was not designed for such strain. It's a strong garment, but simply not long enough in the body to do the "oh dear, my feet are turning blue" reshaping. Besides, under that sort of strain, the front panel will "bow" outwards, despite the steel running down its middle. Please note: the item does not feature a modesty panel. Also, the mannequin on which I laced the cincher is a much larger size than the cincher itself, so if it looks like the fit is a little funny, that's because it is! I haven't had a 28" waist in years! The polyester-dupioni is fortified with heavy twill for strength and the lining is also the same sturdy twill. Either side of each seam and the center front features real steel boning. You can't see the boning channels as the steel is seated in a fabric casing and sandwiched between the lining and interlining. If you look at the photo on the mannequin, you can just about see the line of the boning in the center-front. Long-lasting two-part grommets for lacing up the back - not those nasty eyelets that chew through the fabric! Hand wash in cold water with Woolite, or other gentle soap, and lay flat to dry. Do not wring or twist. You can iron the inside (cotton) of the garment with a medium-warm iron. I do not recommend ironing the fashion-fabric surface, except with a cool iron and a press cloth, as it's pure polyester and can melt - try steaming it, first, to remove any creases.
