It's an overbust corset with a heavy-duty zipper in front, and lacing through silver grommets in the back. It's lined in black cotton for comfort. When fully cinched with no gap at all in the lacing, the measurements are bust 36", waist 30", hips 36", length 15" (recommended for measurements several inches larger than those). "Vatican Envy" Brocade Corset by Scarlet Rose - (Australia) This is an original and unique design from Scarlet Rose. This luscious one-off corset has been named "Vatican Envy". The centre front and centre back panels are done in a beautiful gold embroidered black brocade which I had imported from America. The main motif used in the fabric is a rather stylish cross, and then small black satin bows and dangling blood red crystals have been added as highlights. At top centre front is an extra gorgeous clear crystal drop decorative detail. The corset laces at the back with red ribbon. This is a very lovely corset shape, but actual construction is more that of a bustier type so I must stress that this is not a garment meant to be laced tightly. A snug and comfortable fit is the ideal here. The outer parts of the corset that are not brocade are either matte black, slightly stretchy fabric with a cotton-like appearance, or the black satin boning channels -also there are the 1" wide black satin top and bottom frills. The corset is fully lined with a very soft and comfortable stretch black lining. The belle who wears this divine decadence will need these measurements: bust 97cm - 107cm max, waist 76cm - 86cm max, hips 102cm - 112cm max. This corset will not look anywhere near as good if the wearer is smaller or larger than these dimensions. Here are the corset measurements: centre front depth 36 cm, centre back depth 26cm, side depth 27cm. It is boned in 14 places with rigid plastic boning (not the kind that falls apart when worn! This is pretty sturdy stuff). There are 8 silver eyelets on each side to lace down the back, plus concealed hooks and eyes to do up at centre front. Content: cotton, spandex, polyester, metallic gold thread, crystal and glass beads. It is difficult to photograph successfully, but it is wonderfully detailed and beautiful. "Burlesque Cincher" by Scarlet Rose - (Australia) I named this cincher "Burlesque" since I was making many burlesque inspired designs at the time. The black and white striped fabric at the side panels reminds me of Paris. The front panel features a large Guipure lace motive, from which dangles a long pearl and crystal droplet to catch attention when you shimmy! The back panel has a smaller motive and a cute little black satin bow. The front and back panels are made of shiny thick stretch satin, and the side panels are made of heavy narrow black and white striped cottony fabric. There are five boning channels featured in black satin. Closure is at the side front with three rows of hooks and eyes to allow for size adjustment. Narrow frilled lace edges the top and bottom. The dimensions required for successful wearing of this luscious lovely are as follows: waist measurement between 72cm - 78cm, making this approximately a size 14/16 Australian.
